Description of the requirements for dyes in digital printing
June 01,2022
In the digital printing industry, whether it is the understanding of the machine or the understanding of the required dye consumables, Guangzhou Elephant printing has 18 years of experience. If you happen to be confused about this right now, listen to what we have to say.
It can achieve the color of the original, and now there are more color inks on the market consisting of 8 colors of cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, light red, light yellow and light black. Using 8 color inks, you can print patterns with a wide range of splendor, rich expressions and delicate layers according to your needs. Combinations occur with the correct colors.
It can fully meet the needs of production. For example, inkjet printing of some characters, landscapes, created artworks, etc. can use the color ink of 6-color combination of light cyan and light red. Different ink combinations are suitable for different fabrics, patterns, etc.
The functions of dyes mainly include the hue, strength, vividness, sunlight, water fastness (fading, staining) of dyes, compatibility of dye color matching, etc. There are several types of dye-based inks used in digital printing today: reactive dyes, acid dyes, and disperse dyes.
Generally, natural fibers use reactive dyes and acid dyes: polyester fiber fabrics use disperse dyes, and dye inks have the advantages of complete chromatogram, bright colors, high color strength and stable quality. The hues of dyes are mainly yellow, magenta, light magenta, cyan, light cyan and black. Because it is insoluble in water, disperse dyes need to be dispersed in water into fine particles with the help of dispersants.
Mainly to improve the fixing rate and printing accuracy. Since these dyes are used in inkjet printing, reactive, acid and direct dye inks require pretreatment of the fibers for inkjet printing. There will be bleeding, making the pattern inaccurate. Disperse dye inks are thermally transferred to polyester through paper, or pre-treated on fabrics, and steamed after direct printing.
