What is sublimation ?
In scientific terms, it describes the transition of a solid to a gas, referring only to the physical change of state.
What we call sublimation today refers to a technological process in the textile industry
In layman's terms, we call it sublimation printing .
What is sublimation shirt printing?
The simple process of sublimation t-shirt printing is briefly described as follows
First, the image is printed on a special paper (sublimation paper) by a sublimation printer, and then the image on the sublimation paper is transferred to the fabric through high temperature . (usually light color polyester or a polyester mix).
how sublimation works?
Start to doing sublimation printing ,you must need a sublimation printer for printing,and the sublimation printer have many size for choose,also need a heat press machine for transfer the image on shirt/fabrics.These two machines are the most basic.
For custom small logos/pattern on t-shirts or other clothing with high polyester content,a printer and a heat press machine will be enough.
If you want to sublimation printing for making uniform,you will need the large size printer machine and a roll heat press machine(or large size Flat heat press machine).The point here is to note,the roll heat press machine can transfer roll by roll and piece by piece ,but the Flat heat press machine only can transfer piece by piece.And check here a video link for whole process for making sublimation t shirt on Youtube
