Process Principle and Characteristics of Thermal Sublimation Printing Machine

A thermal sublimation printing machine is a technology that uses printing methods to print special printing dyes onto transfer paper and then transfers the dyes onto fabrics by heating/pressurizing. Specifically, according to the sublimation characteristics of disperse dyes, disperse dyes with a sublimation temperature range of 180~240 ℃ are selected and mixed with the slurry to make color ink according to different pattern/pattern requirements. A thermal sublimation printing machine uses a printing method to print color ink onto transfer paper. The transfer paper printed with patterns and patterns is closely contacted with the fabric, treated on the transfer printing machine at 200~230 ℃ for 10~30s, and then diffused into the fabric to achieve the purpose of coloring.

In the process of heating sublimation, the sublimation transfer ink at the lower side of the substrate of the dye is often imported from South Korea and Italy for directional diffusion of dye during the heating sublimation process of the thermal sublimation printing machine.

Thermal sublimation transfer printing technology has the following four characteristics:

1. Good printing effect. The fabric printed by thermal sublimation transfer technology has fine patterns, bright colors, rich and clear layers, high artistry, and a strong stereoscopic sense, which is difficult to be printed by other methods. It can also print patterns of photographic and painting styles.

2. Prints are soft and have a long service life. The biggest feature of the thermal sublimation printing machine is that the dye can be diffused into polyester or fiber, and the print feels very soft and comfortable, and the existence of the ink layer is not felt. In addition, since the ink has been dried in the transfer process, the life of the image is as long as the life of the garment itself, and there will be no abrasion of the printed image and text that will affect the appearance of the fabric.

3. Simple process, less equipment investment, strong flexibility, and high rate of genuine products. During thermal sublimation transfer printing, multiple color patterns can be printed at one time without the need for double printing, and live pieces can be printed in a short time according to the customer's personalized needs.

4. Save resources and be environmentally friendly. Different from traditional fabric printing, thermal sublimation transfer printing does not require post-treatment processes such as steaming, washing, etc., saving a lot of water resources, not to mention sewage discharge, saving resources, and protecting the environment.

Routine maintenance

1. When adding ink, the ink cartridge should be kept between the first and second liquid levels in the ink cartridge.

2. The machine ink shall be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

3. There should be no common household appliances near the machine, and it should be away from large magnetic fields and electric fields.

4. The computer must be anti-virus, and the firewall of the computer must be closed when using RIP software to the plot.

5. Print the test strip every day before the end of work, and ensure that all nozzles are inked normally.

6. Try to print with more than 4pass ink without affecting the work progress. This model has the least damage to the nozzle.

7. Try to keep the temperature and humidity constant. Generally, the temperature is about 25 degrees, and the humidity is about 60%.

8. The room shall be dust-proof and shall not be put together with the machine prone to smoke and dust.

9. Do not put anything on the machine, nor liquid.

10. Empty the waste ink in the waste ink bucket at least once a week to prevent overflow.

11. Check the cleaning condition of the flash spray and blade at least once a week. If there is any debris such as hair, please use tweezers or face tissue paper to remove the debris.
