What is transfer printing?

According to the classification of different methods, printing technologies can be divided into different types. Each printing type contains complex processes where fine requirements should be met. Among all these printing types, first let's talk about transfer printing.

Transfer printing is a printing method used in the printing projects when the surface of the objects have irregular undulation or they are soft material or others which can not be placed on a printer for normal printing.

In order to print on the surface of the substrate can also be printed on the image and text, the image and text must be first printed on a material called the intermediate transfer carrier, and then by the carrier through some methods, such as heating, wetting, pressure and so on to transfer them to the substrate, and finally form a printed matter.

Thermal transfer printing and Water transfer printing

Offline machine printing plays an important role in the field of packaging printing.

Because transfer printing can be applied to flat or irregular measurement of the concave and convex surface, such as objects with multi-section surface, multi-curved surface and multi-angle plane.
